The Flandreau Aquatic Center is where summer happens - from frog slide giggles to water slide thrills. Swim. Slide.

Monday - Saturday from 1:00-7:00 PM
Sunday from 1:00-5:00 PM The Flandreau Aquatic Center, designed by Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. and constructed by G.A. Johnson Construction, both of Sioux Falls, was completed in May 2004. This recreation initiative was funded through a grant approved by Governor Bill Janklow and local funds. The Flandreau Aquatic Center

opened to meet reviews on May 28th, 2004. The Center features a "zero entry" pool, slides, diving board, lap lanes and various water features. Amenities were provided through the fund raising efforts of the Flandreau Aquatic Center Committee and the generosity of the local community.

Join us Sunday, June 21st from 5-7PM for Family Swim Night!

For $7.00 per family (or FREE with a pool membership), families can enjoy a fun evening together at the pool. Bring your pool toys, floats, and enjoy extra family time in the water!

We want to thank everyone for your patience during registration this year. We know there have been a few bumps along the way, and we truly appreciate your understanding as this is our first year trying this registration process online.

Registration for 2026 swimming lessons at the Flandreau Aquatic Center is now live! Lessons will be offered during the following sessions:

🦩 Session 1: June 8th - 19th
🦩 Session 2: July 6th - 17th

✅ Cost: $25 per participant • payment must be made before your child begins lessons
📅 Monday - Friday only • no weekend lessons

⚠️ Class sizes are limited, so families are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

☑️ Learn-to-Swim Levels 1-6 only • no preschool aquatics this year
☑️ When registering, you'll select an 11AM time slot but class times will be announced closer to starting

📌 Please note: We have a lot of exciting happenings available for our youth this summer. Consider dates of Moody County VBS, Summer Rec Programming, etc. when choosing your session.

Registration for 2026 swimming lessons at the Flandreau Aquatic Center will be completed 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 this year. Class sizes are limited, so we encourage families to register early once registration opens!

🦩 Session 1: June 8th - 19th

𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝!
Due to a limited number of certified Water Safety Instructors on staff this summer, lesson capacities will be limited in accordance with American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim guidelines, to ensure participant safety and quality instruction. Instructional ratios are based on certified instructors, not assisting lifeguards.

𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞:
☑️ We are offering Learn-to-Swim Levels 1-6 only
☑️ Preschool Aquatics will 𝐧𝐨𝐭 be offered this summer
☑️ Placement is skill based, not strictly age based; however, level 1 is typically geared toward swimmers aged 5+
