As the school year winds down, we are excited to celebrate the incredible career of Mrs. Tammy Steffen as she begins her well-earned retirement after 40 years in education! A proud FRCS graduate from the Class of 1979, Mrs. Steffen has dedicated her career to supporting and inspiring generations of Rams. Her commitment, leadership, and love for our school community truly embody what it means to be a lifelong Ram.

Since joining the staff at FRCS, Mrs. Steffen has served our students and families in countless roles, including:
-Preschool Teacher
-1st Grade Teacher
-Elementary Physical Education Teacher
-Kindergarten Teacher
-RTI Reading Specialist
-Principal at Bobcean Elementary

Beyond the classroom, she worked to improve our district through leadership roles such as School Improvement Team Member, MLPP Teacher Trainer, Teacher Mentor, Negotiating Team Member, and Curriculum Council Member.

She has always dedicated herself fully to both students and staff. Each day, she made it a priority to greet classrooms and connect with students, creating a welcoming and caring school environment. Staff members knew they could always stop by to talk, seek support, or simply share a laugh with her. She believes school should be a place filled with joy, connection, and memorable experiences for students, and she never passed up an opportunity to dress up and bring excitement to holidays and school celebrations.

For nearly four decades, she has helped shape the culture, learning, and heart of FRCS. Her passion for students, commitment to education, and leadership have left a lasting impact not only on Bobcean, but on our entire community.

Thank you, Mrs. Steffen, for the incredible difference you have made in the lives of our students, staff, and families throughout your years at FRCS. Your legacy will forever be a part of our Ram community.

As we wrap up the school year, please be sure to congratulate Mrs. Steffen and thank her for the incredible impact she has had on our Ram community over the years.

Once a Ram, always a Ram!
