Hi, I’m Cassie Suhr, and for the past 8.5 years, I’ve been proud to call this community home. It’s the only place Wyatt has ever lived, and like many parents, I care deeply about the schools, teachers, and opportunities that shape our children’s future.
I earned my degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University–Kingsville and now work as a lead paralegal specializing in contracts at pet healthcare company, where I also help handle administrative matters involving the EEOC and other federal and state agencies. My work has taught me the importance of listening, paying attention to details, and standing up for fairness.
I also serve as President of a board for a philanthropic foundation, where I help guide charitable giving.
Outside of work and the foundation, I stay involved in our community as the softball coordinator for our local Little League. That role has given me the chance to work side by side with families, volunteers, and kids, and it’s shown me just how strong our community can be when we work together.
I’m running for School Board because I believe decisions about our schools should be grounded in the voices of parents, students, and teachers. I’m not a politician—I’m a parent, a volunteer, and a neighbor who wants to serve our community and help our schools continue to grow and succeed.
