Town of Flatwoods Council Meeting
July 21, 2026

The Flatwoods Town Council met on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Flatwoods Municipal Building.

The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a prayer led by Mayor Dale Ball. The meeting was called to order at 6:31 p.m.

The Council approved:

* The June 16, 2026, Council Meeting Minutes
* The Treasurer's Report
* The Bill List

Community Updates
Amber Dennison, representing the Flatwoods Volunteer Fire Department, presented the department's monthly report and shared updates on recent activities and operations.

Lorie Brown provided an update on the Flatwoods Fall Event coming this September. More details will be shared as plans continue to come together!

Recognition
The Town recognized Caleb James and Jake Hamrick for their hard work repairing the Town's flagpole. Thank you both for volunteering your time and helping keep our community looking its best!

There were no citizen concerns or old business discussed during the meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
