We're looking for someone to train as a service technician.
We have technicians that have been with us from 5 to 40 years. This is an opportunity for a career with a local, family owned and operated business. Our service area is primarily Berks and Lehigh counties, but stretches past Harrisburg to the west, and Phillipsburg, NJ to the east.

Position: Service Technician Trainee
Type of Position: Full-time
Hours per week: 40+
Required Education or Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent
Required Years Experience: None, but experience in electrical, or IT Fields is a plus. We will train you.
Required Licenses or Certifications: Valid driver's license
Job Description: This is an on-the-job training position that has the opportunity to lead into a long term career as a Service Technician. SSC Service Technicians maintain, inspect, repair and test fire alarms, burglary/intrusion systems, access control systems and surveillance systems.
Required Skills and/or Knowledge: A bit of technical aptitude and the willingness and commitment to learn. Good listening, written and verbal skills are also important.
Pay & Benefits: $15/hr starting salary. After a 90 day review, an additional $1/hr along with 1 week of paid vacation. Health Insurance, 401(k) plan, paid vacation and holidays. Many more details covered in our employee handbook.
