Our deepest thanks to all those past and recent cabin guests who have reached out to check on us and the cabin after Helene. We were very fortunate and only had some property damage unlike many of our mountain neighbors. Cabin is fine and power was restored much quicker that we thought would happen. Blue Ridge Electric and all the crews that have come to the area, have done remarkable work and continue to.
It was impressive as well to see how our neighbors quickly came together to help each other. Throughout the mountains I have witnessed similar assistance and support for those in much more need! I hope you can find and support one of the many organizations helping out in our area such as the Red Cross, Samaritan’s Purse or one of the local churches who have organized relief efforts.
