What an amazing day at the library! We decided to bring the wild inside, and it was an absolute hit. Our kiddos love animals, and there was nothing better than seeing their faces light up over a mini capybara, an alligator, an owl, snake, tegu lizard, and an armadillo! Visitors old and young alike had an absolute blast.
A huge, special thanks to Jillian from Wildlife Encounters—she was absolutely amazing with the crowd and the animals!
We also want to extend a big thank you to the Frenchman School District for sponsoring this incredible venture, and to Ivory Blends for keeping everyone refreshed with delicious, special drinks! 🐊🦫✨

I can open up more spots for the Mad Science Colorado workshops if people are interested!

I can also offer alternate times if anyone ahas signed up already!

The overnight adventures continue… 🦖🍎📚
The stuffed animals have now discovered the classrooms.
Their newest game?
“WHOSE ROOM IS THIS?”
They wandered from room to room searching for clues. One stuffie guessed the art teacher’s room because of the glitter. Another guessed the science room because “it smelled like volcano experiments.” A dinosaur confidently picked the P.E. room because there were tiny fluff balls in jars everywhere.
Then things became very serious… because they decided to PLAY TEACHER.
A huge dog took attendance.
A shark wrote invisible math problems on the board.
An alligator kept reminding everyone to use their inside voices.
Meanwhile, the dinosaurs sat proudly at the tiny desks pretending to be perfect students. (We were not perfect students.)
At this point, I suspect the stuffed animals may be ready to run an entire school.

Very important overnight update… 🦖🔐
The stuffed animals have discovered the kids’ lockers.
At first, they approached cautiously… but within minutes they were opening tiny doors, peeking inside cubbies, and claiming lockers as their “secret headquarters.”
A stuffed teddy tried to fit into the smallest locker.
A dinosaur declared himself locker security.
And one puppy spent twenty minutes organizing invisible homework and thankfully not eating it!
I attempted to restore order, but honestly… they were having the best time ever.
The library and school may never recover from this level of stuffed-animal silliness. 👀✨

Emergency dinosaur update… 🦖🦕
After their adventures at the school, the stuffed animals discovered something absolutely life-changing…
THE DINOSAUR TABLE- explaining summer reading!
The moment they saw it, complete chaos erupted. Tiny stuffies climbed onto the table dinosaurs stomped in excitement, and one stuffed Minnie Mouse refused to leave because she claimed it was “the fanciest table in history.”
They spent the rest of the night admiring dinosaurs, pretending to excavate fossils, and roaring dramatically at each other across the table.
As the head dinosaur in charge, I can confirm:
this may now be the official headquarters of summer fun.
