We always love seeing what our resident artists manage to create! Great job!

If you're 60 or older and interested in joining the class, come to Fleming County Senior Center at 100 West Elm St. in Flemingsburg on Tuesdays at 11a.m. Lunch is served afterward!

We recently celebrated Father's Day at the senior center!

Last week, our clients at Fleming County Senior Center participated in a Cake Walk to raise money that will help to fund future projects for Terry's Craft Class! A lot of fun was had by all, and we thank everyone who took the time to contribute cakes and other goodies to the event!

If you're interested in Terry's Craft Class, visit us at the Fleming County Senior Center on Tuesdays at 11 a.m.! Lunch will be served immediately afterward!

Yesterday was Derby Day for the Fleming County Senior Center! 🐎

Our day was filled with fun activities! We had a derby hate contest with each of the participants making their own hats! Those who didn't make their own were provided a Santa hat to decorate! Our two winners received a bouquet of flowers in beautiful Mason Jar Vases!

We also had our very own wheelchair race derby!! All of the winners received baked goods!

Mrs. Thayer’s eighth grade Leadership Class from Simons Middle School visited us on Monday, April 29, 2024!

They assisted the senior citizens at the Fleming County Senior Center by teaching the seniors all about using computers, from turning on the computer to surfing the internet. This class has been a fantastic group to work with and we love supporting intergenerational programs at the center! We appreciate all of the efforts that the students, Mrs. Thayer, and the Fleming County Board of Education have put forth to remember our seniors.

Now they are well-prepared to use the ten laptops that were generously donated from Buffalo Trace Area Development District!

“Let’s Go Green” for Mental Health Awareness Month!

The clients of Fleming County Senior Center showed support for their families and friends who struggle with mental health difficulties by wearing green. They also participated in the last class of the season for the Drums Alive Exercise Course.
