The Hunterdon County Board of County Commissioners has approved the preservation of the 65-acre Campbell property in Raritan Township, expanding the County’s Uplands Reserve and helping create more than 270 acres of contiguous preserved open space.

The property protects environmentally sensitive land along Walnut Brook and strengthens connections to nearby preserved parks and open space.

Commissioner Director John E. Lanza noted the Commissioner Board remains committed to open space and farmland preservation to protect drinking water resources, preserve Hunterdon County’s rural character, and help prevent high-density sprawl development.

Hunterdon County’s Teen Arts Festival was a celebration of creativity, talent, and community spirit!

Nearly 600 students from across the county gathered to showcase their work in visual art, music, theater, dance, film, and creative writing—transforming the day into a vibrant display of young artistic expression. From gallery exhibits and live performances to interactive art stations and historical reenactments, the festival offered something inspiring around every corner.

Hunterdon County Commissioners Susan J. Soloway and Jeff Kuhl joined educators and county volunteers in supporting these talented students and celebrating the important role the arts play in education and community life.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this year’s Teen Arts Festival such a success!
