Flemington Police Explorers

Flemington Police Explorers Post provides Educational Training Programs on the purpose,mission and objectives of Law Enforcement.

The Flemington Police Explorer Post is open to anyone from the ages of 15 through 20 that has an interest in a Law Enforcement career. The Explorer Post provides educational training programs for young adults on the purpose, mission, and objectives of law enforcement. The program provides career orientation experiences, leadership opportunities and community service activities. The primary goals o

f the program are to help young adults choose a career path within law enforcement and to challenge them to become responsible citizens of their communities and the nation. The Explorer Post currently consists of twenty Police Explorers. They meet about once a month, depending on the officer’s schedules and availability. When the Post meets they will do anything from some classroom training to simulated motor vehicle stops. When holidays approach, the Police Explorer Post is also utilized for traffic control and crowd safety. Because of the exposure to the community during large community events every police explorer is trained in Basic First Aid which includes CPR/AED/Oxygen.

Flemington Public Safety Community Day is ON!

While there’s a little rain in today’s forecast, the fun isn’t stopping! We’re moving some vendors inside to keep things dry and lively and our outdoor emergency services demonstrations are still on as scheduled !

Join us at The Shoppes at Flemington for an exciting day with your first responders, family fun, and FREE activities!

Today’s Demonstrations & Activities:
👮‍♂️ 12:00–12:30 PM: K9 Demo (Flemington PD)
🚑 1:00–2:00 PM: Vehicle Rescue Demo (Rescue Squad)
🚒 3:00–3:30 PM: Fire Safety Presentation (Fire Dept)

🚨 Flemington Community! We Need Your Help!

The Flemington Police Department and Safe Harbor are teaming up for a Shield of Support Event to help local families in need!

📅 Date: Saturday, April 26th
⏰ Time: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
📍 Location: Safe Harbor – 3 Main St, Flemington

Come meet Sgt. Louis Hribik and the amazing staff at Safe Harbor. Please bring donations of gently used kids toys and non-perishable food items to support local children, teens, and families facing tough times. Safe Harbor provides a safe space, meals, and support to those who need it most.

Can’t make it? No worries! Drop off your donations anytime at the Flemington Police Station (200 Main St).
