It was amazing hearing from everyone who stopped by the library this evening! It is fair to say I underestimated the enthusiasm and we are almost completely out of shirts. More are on the way!!

Massive thanks to everyone who is supporting this campaign!

When I talk about fair representation, those aren't just buzzwords, they reflect my goal of giving Fletcher residents back your voice and control at town hall. This video explains what is wrong with Fletcher's current district maps, and what we should do about it.

Right now, Fletcher's voting districts are badly out of proportion. The way the districts are drawn has a real impact on how our council is structured, and too often, who you are able to choose to represent you is decided for you before you ever cast a ballot.

When I talk about safer, more connected neighborhoods, those aren't just buzzwords, they are my vision for Fletcher's future. This video explains exactly what I mean.

The Fletcher Connects plan provides a roadmap for improving sidewalks, trails, and pedestrian connections throughout our town. Connecting our neighborhoods to parks, the library, local businesses, and downtown is one of my top priorities because a town should feel connected.

As Election Day approaches, I want to hear from you.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be holding a series of listening sessions at various locations around Fletcher and I invite you to come sit down with me and share your thoughts on the future of our town.

I’ll be sharing a schedule of dates, times, and locations in the coming days.

If there’s a location you’d like me to visit, please share it in the comments below. I’d be happy to come sit on your porch and visit with you and you’re welcome to invite your neighbors as well!

Today our family is celebrating 250 years of American independence with friends and delicious food. I hope most of you are able to take time and enjoy the holiday as well.

I want to thank all of the workers who are unable to take time away from providing critical emergency services, community care, protecting children and at-risk communities, and all of the unseen work that makes the American standard of living possible.

I am full of gratitude this morning and humbled by the privilege of being part of this great experiment in self-governance.

Happy Independence Day!
