For the fireworks. They are still scheduled.

The fireworks are not being done by the department so all decisions are with the company performing the show. They will make all decisions on when the show will begin or if the show needs to be delayed or cancelled.

We will try and post an update should weather become an issue but understand that fire coverage is priority. If we are busy on a run, we may not be able to update.

Engine 91 Update

Today Engine 91 was able to receive its graphics package. It is now near complete with members only needing to complete some final tool mounting.
Heres a little back story on Fletcher Engine 91. Engine 91 was purchased new by the department in 1992. It served as the departments first out fire pumper from 1992-2015. In 2015 Engine 93 was put into service as the departments first out pumper and Engine 91 was repurposed into the departments rescue truck. This truck has served the community for 34 years.
In December of 2025 members of the department decided it was time to try and replace Engine 91. With the rise in new truck prices it was decided to try and look for a used apparatus. Members of the department took time away from their families on New Year’s Eve and traveled to Missouri to inspect the 2017 Pierce Rescue Pumper before purchasing it. Since the truck was delivered members of the department have spent countless hours training on operating the truck and outfitting it to get it put in service. This truck is the first rescue style pumper the department has purchased and allows us to maximize efficiency with ample amount of space.
