Another election canvass and certification in the books! Our Genesee County Board of Canvassers certified the August 4th 2026 Primary Election results yesterday. A huge thank you to our canvassers who do this important work!

Congratulations Archer and Beckett! Way to represent Flint and Genesee County at the CANUSA Games!

Archer MacMillan, the son of Brian MacMillan, who serves as Genesee County's Corporation Counsel, did something amazing over the weekend: At the CANUSA Games, Archer won the Jimmy Thompson Swimming Award. He competed in six races and won first place in all six, including two meet records! His twin brother, Beckett, also won first place in six events and had another meet record. Way to go, boys!
