For our residents here in the Beecher District.

GCRC will begin its Detroit St. (between Carpenter Rd. and Natchez Dr./Peachtree Dr.) reconstruction project on Monday, April 15. During phase 1, two-way traffic will be maintained in the northbound lanes. We will update again before phase 2 begins.

On Wednesday 12/13 our Station 3 personnel was able to participate in shop with a hero. We were able to shop with 10 children this year and we had a great time watching them pick and choose their items. Big shout out to Walmart Clio for once again giving us the space to hang out and eat snacks and for providing the people to help make checkout run smoothly. We can not wait to do this again next year.

A firefighter/trainee is an entry-level position that involves learning how to respond to emergencies and fight fires. They are responsible for operating equipment, working as a team to extinguish fires, and providing assistance to people in need. They receive on-the-job training and are expected to be physically fit and able to work in high-pressure situations.

Some of the essential skills and qualities that a firefighter/trainee should possess include physical fitness, the ability to work well under pressure, good communication skills, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills. They should also be committed to public service and have a desire to help others.
