Your local MDHHS office is now providing assistance with diapers. To qualify for the diaper assistance program, you must be active in at least one MDHHS benefits program and have a child on your benefits case who uses diapers. The next DEA Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Michigan State Police Flint Post. For this day only, this specific site will accept the disposal of prescription pills, needles, patches, inhalers, and liquid medication. Need some extra help this Christmas? Catholic Charities Christmas sign-up will take place October 19 through 23, from 10:00 a.m 1:00 p.m. at the North End Soup Kitchen. Sign up your children (ages 17 and younger) to receive a present. Bring your ID and your children's birth certificates. Children do not need to be present to sign up.
