🔥 What a day with the Flint, Northern Michigan, Central Michigan, and Saginaw fam! 💪

We crushed a circuit court, got our drill on, and soaked up some knowledge – all to get our minds and bodies bootcamp-ready. And yeah, we ended with a wild game of dodgeball because why not? 🏐

Big props to all the Poolees who pushed their limits. You’re not just prepping for bootcamp; you’re building your future. 💪

🎉 Big shoutout to Elijah Kampfer who enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves today! He’s walking a path similar to his twin, Nevan, who just earned his Marine title after boot camp. These guys are two-thirds of a set of triplets, each with a strong spirit of service.

As mission commander, Marine Col. Nicole Mann will be responsible for all phases of the flight, from launch to reentry.

"Becoming a Marine is no small feat, so becoming a Marine turned astronaut might simply sound out of this world.

Not, however, for Col. Nicole Mann, 45, a former F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet test pilot who will lead the upcoming SpaceX Crew-5 team to the International Space Station.

“It wasn’t until I was in my mid-twenties, flying jets in the Marine Corps, that I realized that being an astronaut was not only something that was a possible dream, but was actually something that was quite attainable,” Mann said during a team press conference Aug. 4."
