The Flintville Fire Rescue responded this afternoon along with Vanntown, Parkcity and molino to a large structure fire on Rambo rd. On arrival crews encountered heavy fire in the garage area of the home. Fire had moved in to the upper floor of the house on the garage end. Firefighters knocked the fire down quickly and started an offensive attack to bring the fire under control. The garage suffered heavy fire damage. A car and utv was also destroyed. The rest of the home suffered heavy smoke and water damage. Great job by all who responded.......

The Flintville Fire Rescue was busy tonight during the bad weather. We responded along with Park City to a possible brush fire on Rambo rd. That turned out to be a controlled burn. Later in the evening we responded to a medical call. While returning from the medical call we responded to a tree blown over on a house on old 64 hwy. A tree fell on a 2nd house which was not occupied. Several trees down in the Green Gables/Shady Grove Rd area... Great job by all who responded.

The fire broke out at Taylor Made Meats, located on Old Highway 64 in Flintville.

The Flintville Fire Rescue responded to a commercial structure fire this afternoon on old hwy 64. Upon arrival crews encountered heavy fire in the rear of the building with heavy smoke coming out of the front. Assistance was called for and several units with the Lincoln County fire department responded along with the city of fayetteville units from Franklin County and Moore county. Efforts where made to extinguish the fire. It was to contained to the building of origin. An attached addition and a detached building was saved. The attached addition did suffer smoke and water damage. The extremely high temperatures made this one a difficult fire to fight. We would like to thank everyone who responded from our county fire department, the city of fayetteville and our neighboring counties. Great effort by all that responded.

The Flintville Fire Rescue assisted the Park City fire rescue this afternoon on a possible brush fire endangering structure in the 100 block of old Lincoln rd. Upon arrival crew found a brush pile on fire along with a nearby tree. The fire was knocked down quickly and efforts were made to extinguish the tree. Great job by all who responded.

The Flintville Fire Rescue responded along with Vanntown and Parkcity to a structure fire this morning on belle orchard drive in the park city area. Upon arrival crews found a detached garage fully involved in fire. Resident had removed a car and motorcycle before personal arrived. Crews made a quick knock down on the fire. Cause is unknown. Garage was a total loss. Great ljob by everyone who responded.....
