Parents, First & Last Line of Defense

It is clearly appropriate to say that CRT is major offensive aimed at Christian-style civilization in general, and America in particular. It is being waged by people that are either Communists, heavily influenced by Communists, or afraid of Communists.

If you are a parent, now is the time to ask yourself what you will do. Will you protect your children and grandchildren from the coming storm? And how will you do it? To leave them in public schools under these circumstances is to offer them as lambs to be slaughtered. In spite of everything explained in this article, you can still take them out and educate them yourselves or in a private school that is not taking federal money.

There is still enough “America” left to allow you and your family to simply opt out. There is no greater act of parental love and responsibility left to us with regard to education in this dark time than to protect your children from the poison that is CRT and the Communists that spawned it. Walk away now for the sake of your children, your faith, your State, and the American republic.

CRT Shock-and-Awe Assault

Public schools are waging a blitzkrieg upon families throughout America. Almost overnight, it seems, Left-wing activist groups have launched a coordinated attack on the traditional purposes of education. The trigger was the death of George Floyd.

Immediately after the “murder” of Floyd, cities were burning, and school officials were pledging radical reform of classrooms to avenge the latest outlaw martyr of the streets. Schools must combat “white supremacy” even if it meant rejecting the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic in favor of the ideology of Black Lives Matter and the class warfare of Antifa.

Not only has U.S. President Joe Biden committed billions of dollars for the public schools willing to create new ways of incorporating CRT into their classrooms, but his Secretary of Education is gathering support to override current curricula programs with CRT initiatives.

And what are we getting for our money? An ideology so intellectually shabby that once you understand its basic principles, you are less tempted to laugh at its absurdities than to rage at its lies.

Where You Least Expect It

On April 13, 2021, Andrew Gutmann pulled his daughter out of the elite Brearley School for girls, where tuition was $54,000 a year. On the way out, he mailed a letter to all 600 or so families involved with the school:

It cannot be stated strongly enough that Brearley’s obsession with race must stop. It should be abundantly clear to any thinking parent that Brearley has completely lost its way. The administration and the Board of Trustees have displayed a cowardly and appalling lack of leadership by appeasing an anti-intellectual, illiberal mob, and then allowing the school to be captured by that same mob.

The letter went viral, and Guttman learned from the responses he received that Critical Race Theory was not just a “conservative” issue. He heard from leftists, moderates, conservatives, and people who considered themselves apolitical. He received heartbreaking responses from people who had fled from Communist controlled countries only to find that Critical Race Theory was in America also, with its political purity pledges, ideological tests, purges, and race-baiting. For these people, it was Communism all over again.

Money & CRT, a Deadly Concoction

Common Core helped establish a direct pipeline between local schools and the federal government. Despite the prohibitions found in the U.S. Constitution and the words of America’s Founders and other champions of Liberty, Common Core pipes federal money to local schools that align with the federal government’s ideas, or standards, about the art of teaching and the curriculum taught. Thus, we have the “common” in Common Core. Forty-six States adopted Common Core because the Obama administration offered them billions of dollars.

Now that the money pipeline is operational, the federal government is effectively taking over the schools that are receiving the funds. We repeat that this pipeline is completely unconstitutional, but since when has law and the words of America’s Founders meant anything to the federal government regardless of which party was running it?

Education that once aspired to produce individualistic and patriotic students and make them the best they can be through study and hard work is now effectively dead.

Full Strength Poison

Anyone that knows the history of public education in America, and its progression through the years, is aware that it is an ever-escalating threat to Liberty and Christian style civilization. In this context Critical Race Theory is but a full-strength version of the poison that public education has been feeding students for a long, long time.

Simply put, Critical Race Theory (CRT) is an offshoot of the socialist dialectic that has evolved in universities over the last 50 years or so. It employs rhetorical strategies designed to sow decisive conflict between America’s so-called “racist and capitalistic” past and its future as a “socialist utopia,” if CRT schemers get their way.

According to its proponents, it is only after every aspect of our systemically racist and irredeemably white supremacist culture, history, art, economics, politics and character traits has been eradicated that America can become a socialist paradise devoid of “whiteness,” a secular and materialist Eden that fully empowers minorities, women, LGBTQ, and non-Western peoples to govern, rule, and live in harmony. But this definition barely scratches the surface!
