💰I-Cash Program will be held at the Flora Public Library💰
Over $1.6 million in Clay County
SPRINGFIELD – Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs’ staff will be at the Flora Public Library on 📆 Thursday, March 26, 2026 to help reunite citizens with missing money property through the I-Cash program.
In Clay County, an estimated 16,600 people and/or businesses have unclaimed cash or property. The value exceeds $1,695,000.00. Statewide, Frerichs secures more than $5 billion in unclaimed cash and property.
“For most people, it is difficult to believe that they might have overlooked an investment account or forgot to pick up a final paycheck. However, the thousands of names in our database shows that it happens too often,” Frerichs said. “This money belongs to the residents of Illinois. It should be in their bank accounts rather than the state’s safe.”
📆⏰The event will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the Flora Public Library, 216 N. Main St., Flora, IL.
