Clay County Rehabilitation (CCR) is the parent company and was incorporated in 1974 as a 501 ( c )3 corporation to provide vocational services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. In 1996, Clay County Industries was formed as the manufacturing division of CCR. This division currently occupies 37,000 square feet of manufacturing space. In 2007, Secure Processors was formed as a 501 ( c )

3 to consolidate all the electronics recycling activities and marketing under one company. To learn more about Secure Processors, please visit www.secureprocessors.org

Although Clay County Rehabilitation Center, the parent company, Clay County Industries, the Manufacturing division, and Secure Processors, the Electronics Recycling Division, have defined activities; they each share a single purpose:

The mission of these companies is to provide vocational training, rehabilitation, and jobs for individuals with intellectual disabilities residing in Illinois. Currently, we are serving 140 individuals from Clay, Richland, Lawrence, Wayne, and Marion counties

As part of this week’s City-Wide Clean up, Secure Processors will be accepting electronics for recycle Monday - Friday, 8am - 2pm. This service is available this week only, 05/18 through 05/22.

The following items will be accepted:
•LCD Monitors: .50/LB Charge
•TVs: .50/LB Charge
•CRTs: .50/LB Charge
•Computers
•Servers
•Laptops
•Printers
•Keyboards and Mice
•Other misc. office equipment

Secure Processors does not accept appliances for recycle.

Clay County Rehabilitation Center is now accepting applications for a Direct Support Personnel (DSP), preferably trained. This position is located at Clay County Rehabilitation Center Inc., 530 E. 4th St., Flora, Full-time, Monday-Friday, no weekends plus benefits include Retirement, Health, Life, Dental, Vision, and Vacation. Starting pay $16 per hour.
Qualifications require a valid driver’s license, clean background check, and a high school diploma or GED. Apply in person Monday-Friday 8-3 at Clay County Industries/Secure Processors Administration Office, #1 Commercial Drive, Flora, or email resume to [email protected]
