RSVP please!

To ensure we are able to have gifts for all the kids attending and enough food for everyone, I’m requesting anyone planning to attend to RSVP to Erin Deitch @ 706-405-9197.

You’re Invited! 🎄✨

Please join us on Saturday, December 6, 2025, for a Delta Company FRG Holiday Party! We’ll be gathering from 3–5 PM at the First Methodist Church Youth Building for an afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and community.

Here’s what’s in store:
🎁 Gifts for the kids
✉️ Letter-writing to Santa
🎲 Fun games for all ages
🍽️ A delicious catered meal
📸 Photo opportunities with one (or maybe two!) very special guests

Most importantly, we’ll share time together in fellowship—celebrating the season and lifting one another up. ❤️

To help us plan enough food and gifts for every child, please RSVP to Erin Deitch at 706-405-9197 with the number of adults and children attending (including each child’s age and gender).

And remember—if your soldier is not currently in Delta Company, you are still warmly welcome! We’re stronger together, and this gathering is for everyone in our extended military family.

We can’t wait to celebrate the season with you!

Veterans Day is day to honor all those who serve or have served in the US Armed Forces. This year especially, it’s incredibly real and personal. Today is a reminder of the daily sacrifices being made halfway across the world by our Soldiers.

To all the fathers, husbands, sons, brothers, and uncles; all the mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, and aunts; all the men and women who are currently serving and those who are veterans; those deployed, and those at home—

Thank you for your daily sacrifices, courage, and selfless service. Thank you for the texts, voice memos, and FaceTime calls home. It takes a truly incredible person to volunteer for this life, to protect the people you love the most.

We appreciate you, we miss you, and we love you. We are so proud of you, we are grateful for you, and we are here waiting for you to come home. We owe you all the honor, respect, and appreciation on this Veterans Day. We cannot thank you enough.

🎃 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our SFRG Fall Festival! 🍂

It was such a joy to see so many families and spend some time catching up with all of you.

A huge shoutout to all the families who went above and beyond by decorating trunks, donating candy and cakes, and to the incredible soldiers who helped things run smoothly—we truly couldn’t have done it without you.

And of course, a special thank you to the brave souls who took a turn in the ice water dunk tank—you were a huge hit with the kids, and brought so many smiles!

We’re grateful for this amazing community.

Delta Company practicing hot load training.

Military hot load training refers to the practice of loading or unloading troops, equipment, or supplies onto or from an aircraft (typically helicopters) while the engines are still running and, in some cases, the rotors or propellers are turning. This training simulates emergency scenarios where rapid deployment or evacuation is necessary and shutting down the aircraft is not practical or safe.

The training emphasized speed, coordination, and safety under high-risk conditions, and was conducted under strict supervision with safety protocols in place.

Fall festival tomorrow!

We will have a bounce house, trunk or treat, military vehicle touch-a-truck, crafts, a cake walk, corn hole, and hot dogs. Kids are welcome to wear their costumes.

My kids and I are excited, we hope to see you there!

Reminder: the entrance to the armory from Hwy 167 is still closed. You will need to enter N Industrial Park Rd from Hwy 84. It’s the same entrance you used if you came to the armory in August. We will be set up in the back of the parking lot.

The Fall Festival is almost here! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 18th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Please note the time change and feel free to stop by at any point during the event. Stay as long as you'd like!

We're also looking for a few volunteers to decorate their vehicles for our Trunk or Treat. If you're interested in helping out, please let us know.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
