They are going to be mentally and physically preparing for Recruit Training. In the Delayed Entry Program, individuals are mentored by Marines and will be getting ready for Recruit Training and life in the Marine Corps.

The Marine Corps recognizes those that go above and beyond in everything they do. One of those individuals is Brody King. He excelled in academics and in sports and were involved in several other extra curricular activities. He is the winner of the Navy and Marine Corps ROTC Scholarship, which will cover $180,000 worth of educational benefits.

We also recognize our Poolees who are graduating from High School and are getting ready for their next chapter in life; Recruit Training.

🚨‼️MOTIVATION‼️🚨

Staff Sergeant Martin visited Hannah-Pamplico High School and challenged the students to an Ammo Can Lift Challenge! The challenge was to see who has the most motivation and who can do the most repetitions with the 30lb ammo can. The Marine Corps values individuals who demonstrate high morale and motivate others to do better.

This past weekend, RSS Florence ran an Initial Strength Test for Poolees, to help prepare them for Recruit Training. The Poolees with the best run time were rewarded for their dedication to exceeding the standard. The Marine Corps values individuals with high ambitions that do not settle for the bare minimum.

Also, huge congratulations to LCpl Edwards for reenlisting into the Active Duty Component of the Marine Corps.

No matter the place, Marines will find positive ways to impact the community. Staff Sergeant Martin is a Brazilian Jiujitsu blue belt and trains Ozone Brazilian Jiujitsu under Cliff White. This is the type of representation the Marines are all about. If you feel that internal motivation for physical and mental development, the Marines is the place for you.
