6/7/26 Flash Flood Update: Numerous flooded crossings reported throughout Central and Eastern Lauderdale. Some areas will see a short break in the rain, followed by another round of heavy rainfall. The break will give drainage infrastructure a short time to catch up, but more flash flooding is likely through 3p. Use extreme caution when driving. Even when the rain stops, pooling will remain for several hours. Hydroplaning can occur at speeds as low as 30 mph.
