Car seats and booster seats (when used correctly) cut the risk of death in a crash by 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers according to the CDC. That's why car seat safety is such a big deal to us at Shoals Sav-A-Life!

We have a certified technician on staff who can show parents how to properly install their car seat and check it for safety, free of charge.

When parenting class participants complete 5 courses, including our car seat safety course, they earn a brand new car seat. In 2026 alone, we've given out 27 car seats and have 8 more installs scheduled in the next 3 weeks!

Here's where you can help: If you have a Sam's Club membership, WE NEED YOU! We're able to buy 6 of the car seat pictured and still get the limited-time discount. Consider grabbing one (or six!) while they're on sale and shipping them to us — every seat means one more baby riding safer.

Small but mighty! 💛

Green's Chapel in Lexington may be a small church of about 25 members, but their hearts for serving others are huge. They dedicated the month of August as "Shoals Sav-A-Life Month" and hosted a baby shower to bless the moms and families we serve. Pictured are many of the items they donated!

Thank you, Green's Chapel, for proving that God can do big things through faithful people!

Shaken together, running over, and OVERFLOWING! 🙌✨
Lindsey, Client Service Coordinator, had to share a quick testimony of God’s incredible faithfulness and abundance.

"Last Monday, we were running dangerously low on diapers and wipes. I went to God in prayer, asking Him to provide what we needed soon, and thanked Him in advance for His provision. Look at how He answered:
🙏 Monday: I prayed for a supply.
❤️ Tuesday: A volunteer brought several packs and sent a plea out to her church.
🎉 Sunday: FBC Rogersville hosted a baby shower for us, showering us with gifts, including tons of diapers and wipes!
📦 This Tuesday: Jackson Heights Church of Christ sent even more diapers and wipes.
What started as a prayer for a basic need turned into an absolute overflow of blessings! 😭 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every volunteer, FBC Rogersville, and Jackson Heights Church of Christ for being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Let this be your reminder today: whatever you are praying for and thanking Him for in advance, He is able to supply above and beyond what we could ever ask or think. He hears you!"

We LOVE coffee with a purpose! ☕️❤️ Thank you to First Baptist Church Center Star for turning every cup of coffee into hope for moms, dads, and babies. We are so thankful for your partnership and for every church that helps make our free services possible!

You may not know this, but our church coffee shop is not only a popular place for our FBCCS Family to connect on Sundays, but is also a mission outreach. ALL proceeds are turned into donations for Shoals Sav-A-Life Pregnancy Center. Over the last year, in addition to our baby bottle donation fundraiser, we have been able to donate over $10,000 to this great organization. Thank you Tracey and Heather (and other volunteers) for your kind service, great coffee, and servant hearts!
