As a case manager with Visiting Angels, I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be to have a conversation with a parent or loved one about accepting senior home care.

For many families, it can feel like a loss of independence—or an admission that things are changing. But asking for help doesn’t mean giving up independence. It can mean protecting it.

These conversations take patience, empathy, and respect. Start by listening, understanding their concerns, and focusing on how the right care can help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the home they love.

✨ Meet Quinn Sesher, Case Manager at Visiting Angels Home Care! ✨ (Pictured with his son Sam)

For more than six years, Quinn has been a valued member of the Visiting Angels Home Care team, and we're proud to recognize the compassion and dedication he brings to our clients every day.

As our Case Manager, Quinn oversees state-funded home care cases, working closely with the Northern Kentucky Area Development District and the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission. His role is centered on helping seniors and individuals access the care and support they need to remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

When asked what he enjoys most about his work, Quinn shared:

"My favorite part of what I do is getting to know each client beyond their care needs. Every person has a lifetime of stories, experiences, and wisdom, and it's a privilege to help them maintain their independence while ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued.

Quinn's passion for serving others and his commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect embody the mission of Visiting Angels. We're grateful for his more than six years of service and the positive impact he continues to make in the lives of our clients, their families, and our community.
