Summer Reading kicked off with a ROAR yesterday! 📚🦖
Families joined us for a fun-filled morning of Summer Reading registration, Otter Pops, balloon animals, glitter tattoos, and a visit from our Highly Trained Professional Dinosaur Tamer! Judging by this video, some participants may still be running for safety!
If you registered for Summer Reading but couldn’t make it, your registration bags are now ready for pickup at the Circulation Desk.
Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us start the summer with a prehistoric-sized adventure. There’s still time to sign up and join the fun! 📚🦕

Learn how to preserve the past and protect your memories! Join us for Maker Space Certification: Digital Memory Preservation on Thursday, May 28th from 5PM - 7PM for adults 18+. In this hands-on certification class, you will learn the basics of digitizing a variety of analog formats, including VHS and VHS-C tapes, cassette recordings, vinyl records, 8mm reel to reel film, slides, photographic film, and photo scanning. Gain the skills to safely preserve and share treasured memories for years to come at the library!

Bring the whole family and celebrate the start of a summer filled with reading, fun, and adventure for all ages. Enjoy exciting activities, community booths from organizations around Pinal County, FREE - Balloon Art and Glitter Tattoos by Party Animals AZ, FREE - Otter Pops while supplies last, and the splash pad will be open so little ones can cool off and play! Move, sing, and smile! Join Music & Movement with Katie and her therapy dog Finn, a fun and interactive program for ages 0-5. Enjoy music, rhythm, and movement while spending time with our gentle therapy dog. Held twice a month on Tuesdays at 10:30AM, this is a joyful way for little ones and caregivers to learn, play, and connect at the library!

STEAM Genius is happening Wednesday from 2PM to 3PM for kids ages 7-12! We are continuing our VEX IQ robots project. If you started your build last week, come back and keep working on your design, add new features, and bring your robot one step closer to completion. Join us for hands-on engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving as we keep the creativity going!
