Lauderdale County Conservation District Our Board meetings are open to the public at the USDA Service Center on Darby Dr., Florence AL. Meeting Minutes are available upon request.

For nearly 80 years, Lauderdale County Conservation District has committed to conserving Lauderdale County's natural resources by connecting those who use and work the land to the education, technical know-how, and resources they need. This stewardship revived the landscape from the devastation of the 1930's and continues to improve quality of life for all Alabama citizens. Attention High School Teachers!
Registration is now open for the 2027 Alabama Envirothon Regional Competitions!
The Regional Competition will be held on January 13, 2027 in Huntsville, AL.
Participation in the regional competition is required before participation in the state level program. Regional programs are single-day events and free to attend.
First-time attendees are welcome!
Regional winners will advance to State Competition held in Columbiana, AL February 25-27, 2027.
