The Shoals Chamber of Commerce, Shoals Economic Development Authority, and City of Florence are partnering to host a job fair to help connect those affected by Dal-Tile's recent closure with new employment opportunities in our area.

Local employers who are currently hiring are encouraged to participate! The job fair will take place on Thursday, October 22, from 2–5 p.m. at the Florence Coliseum.

The YMCA of the Shoals will offer free childcare for children ages 2 months to 12 years old for 2 hours from 3-5 p.m. during the job fair Thursday. To reserve your spot, please call 256-246-9622.

Employer registration is FREE but required, and space is limited! Booths will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Shoals Culinary Center is proud to partner with Northwest Shoals Community College for upcoming Food & Beverage classes this fall.

Upcoming class dates are:
- Wednesday, October 14 | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Friday, November 20 | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, December 8 | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

These classes are part of our continued commitment to supporting culinary
