On 08 August 2021 HHD conducted a retirement ceremony for SFC Peterson who is assigned as an Assistant Operations NCO with the Battalion Staff. SFC Peterson served in the SCARNG for 21 years and completed 3 deployments. She also served in 3 different MSCs within the State.

On 07 August 2021 HHD conducted a promotion ceremony for SGT Fuerte who is assigned as the unit’s PBO NCO.

From 7 August 2021 to 8 August 2021 the 132nd Military Police Company conducted AT Recovery Operations and property book inventories.

This included additional PMCS and OPTEMPO of vehicles in the motorpool and inventories of all PLT and Section equipment. The commander's property book inventory was completed at this time to ensure full accountability of all sensitive items and armory equipment.

Prior to this IDT it should be noted that the 132nd received a passing rating of the COMET inspection with a 98% rating.

On 26-28 FEB 21 8 Soldiers from the 51st Military Police Battalion participated in the annual SCNG TAG Match. The event allows members of the SCNG the opportunity to test their marksmanship and use weapons systems in a battle-focused environment using rifle, pistol and combined arms.

132MP CO Team- SGT Alligood, Eric , SPC Leduc, Brandon , SPC Mackay, Douglas , and SPC Peek, Micah.

133MP CO Team- SGT King, Larry , SPC Kulis, Christopher, SPC Sutton, Brandan, and PFC Boyd, David.

SGT King, Larry (133MP CO) Overall Rifle EIC Match Winner and placed 3rd in the Open Category. SGT Alligood, Eric (132MP CO) Earned pistol EIC Badge and placed 3rd in the Novice Category. SGT King and SGT Alligood also earned their Governor's Twenty Tab.

Cpl. Jonathon Cole of the 133rd MP Company is an exemplar in the and recently earned a $20K bonus for signing a six-year reenlistment.

"There were a multitude of contributing factors that led to my decision to reenlist. The comradery within the unit, the opportunity to continue serving the community, and the continuation of benefits."

Cpl. Cole also voiced his appreciation for the opportunities his service has afforded his family. "Having Tricare, for example, was incredibly beneficial for the birth of my son last year. Out of pocket costs were next to nothing, and adding coverage for my family was much cheaper than my civilian career options."

Sgt. Tammy Edwards originally joined in 1989, completed ten years of service, and left. In 2009, she reenlisted and now serves alongside her husband and son. "The National Guard has let me meet people all over the state. If I broke down somewhere, I know I would have someone nearby to help me." Regardless of the benefits, the bonds we make are why we serve. Last weekend, Sgt. Tammy Edwards extended for three-years, and we couldn't be happier to have her on our team.

Spc. Blake Perritt rejoined the after a one year break in service in part to obtain Tricare with the . For a six-year commitment, he earned a $20,000 bonus. When asked why he chose the , he said, "They treat me like family, even when I was new. You can't find that outside." Great work, and keep it up!
