The Junior League of Florence is an organization of women who are dedicated to promoting volunteerism

The Junior League of Florence is a network of empowered female civic leaders working with community partners to address and solve pressing issues. We’re part of an international network of 291 Leagues comprised of over 150,000 women, in Canada, Mexico, the U.K. and the U.S., engaged in similar work in their own communities. This provides us with a unique and powerful depth of knowledge and resourcefulness to bring about the changes we strive to accomplish.

1,013 diapers.
312 community members served.
Countless smiles all across the board!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers, community partners, and everyone who helped spread the word, the Junior League of Florence's 7th Annual Diaper Drive was a tremendous success.

Together, we distributed approximately 1,013 diapers, along with wipes and reusable tote bags, serving 312 community members. These essential items help ease the financial burden for families and ensure local children have access to the resources they need.

To everyone who donated diapers, wipes, or financial contributions, thank you. To every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and heart, thank you. To our partners at HopeHealth and everyone who shared our posts, encouraged a family to attend, or supported this initiative in any way, thank you.

This is what community looks like. When we come together in service, we create a lasting impact that extends far beyond a single day. Thank you for helping us build a better community, one family at a time!

Today we commemorate Juneteenth, marking the end of slavery in the United States when news of emancipation reached Galveston, Texas, in 1865.

The Junior League honors the resilience, contributions, and achievements of Black communities. We remain committed to promoting equity, inclusion, and lasting positive change in every corner of our work.

Our 7th Annual Diaper Drive is happening this Saturday, and there is still time to help us support local babies and families in need.

If you have not had a chance to donate diapers or wipes, donations are still being accepted. Every package matters, and every contribution helps provide essential resources to parents and caregivers throughout our community.
