As part of our morning announcements, we pose a Thought Provoking Question on Thursdays. Typically, these are in the kid-friendly form of a Would You Rather Question. Mrs. Thompson’s second graders use the weekly question as a bell ringer to practice opinion writing in their journals.

Today’s question: Would you rather burp bubbles or sneeze glitter?

Mrs. Diver’s class was selected as our first ever Forest Hills Defenders because they consistently did a great job following our school safety procedures, keeping their classroom secured, and setting a good example for other students. They’ll receive the Forest Hills Defenders trophy to display in their classroom for the month of September and a class party to celebrate of their choosing.

Thank you to our SRO, Officer Jesse Burns, for encouraging and celebrating safety and responsibility in our school!
