Our building is more than four walls. It’s a place where children in foster care are welcomed with dignity, care, and compassion. And every bit of it is possible because of a community that believes they deserve to be seen and supported.

We’re SO excited to share a new partnership with Comfort Cases! 🎉

Comfort Cases provides backpacks filled with essentials like pajamas, books, blankets, hygiene items, and comfort items for children entering foster care, reminding them that they are valued, cared for, and never alone.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with an organization that shares our heart for serving children with dignity and compassion. Together, we can bring a little more comfort and hope to children during some of the hardest moments of their lives💛

Today we’re celebrating the newly minted Farmer Family💗

After more than 707 days in foster care, these amazing girls are officially home with their forever family. What a beautiful reminder of the power of love, family, and the village that surrounds them.

We’re so grateful to be a small part of their journey and to celebrate this incredible day alongside them. Congratulations, Farmer Family! We’re cheering you on and praying for a lifetime of love, joy, and beautiful memories together!

We are so grateful to Miss Spectacular America National Mini Miss Queen and her platform, Love Beyond Biology, for choosing Foster Care Clothing Closet as the recipient of their pageant donation drive👑

Inspired by her own adoption journey, she encouraged contestants to collect clothing, shoes, pajamas, and other essentials for children entering foster care. Together, they donated so many items that will help children feel cared for, valued, and loved during a difficult time.

Thank you to everyone who gave so generously. Your kindness is already making a difference in the lives of local children.

A new pair of shoes is more than just another item on a checklist.

For a child entering foster care, it can mean walking into a new school with confidence, feeling comfortable in a new home, or simply knowing someone cared enough to make sure they had what they needed.

Because we serve children from birth through age 18, we keep shoes in every size and for every season. In fact, the largest pair we've ever provided was a size 16 for a teenage boy in foster care, a size that's often difficult to find!

Every pair of shoes we provide is a reminder to a child that they matter💛

A huge thank you to our friends at QVC for volunteering with us twice this month! 🙌

They got some great work done around the closet and helped us distribute all of the food generously donated by Harvest Hope a few weeks ago.

We’re so grateful for volunteers who are willing to roll up their sleeves and serve alongside us. Thank you, QVC, for helping us care for children and families in our community!

One of the best parts of what we do is getting to say "yes" when a family needs us 💙

We had the joy of providing clothing, shoes, and essentials for the Kinship Foster Family caring for five children. Every distribution is a reminder of why this ministry exists: to make sure children entering foster care have what they need and know they're cared for.

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Mary Kleinknecht 🌟

For more than six years, Mary Kleinknecht has faithfully served with the Foster Care Clothing Closet, and we are so grateful for the heart and dedication she brings to our ministry.

Between caring for her family, loving on her grandchildren, leading Bible studies, and enjoying pickleball, Mary continues to make time to serve children in foster care by helping provide the clothing and essentials they need.

Her quiet faithfulness is a beautiful example of sharing God’s love through service. Volunteers like Mary are the heartbeat of FCCC and help us bring hope, dignity, and support to children and families in our community. 💙
