A Minneapolis 911 supervisor has been placed on leave, multiple sources tell Alpha News. Although the city would not confirm, sources say the supervisor, Paul Freimuth, had been assisting anti-ICE protesters while on duty.

“It’s unbelievable how many people dispatch is hiring that truly despise law enforcement,” one source said of the situation.

The city said in a statement that state law prevents it from commenting on whether or not an employee has been placed on leave.

“[W]e must also clarify that the City is unable to confirm or respond regarding the nature of any allegations against this employee,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, concerns have also been raised about a city payroll supervisor’s social media posts.

Just days after a New York Times investigation exposed allegations that Cesar Chavez sexually abused underage girls, Minnesota leaders from both parties are calling to repeal a state law designating March 31 as “Cesar Chavez Day.”

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who is now running for governor, did not respond to Alpha News’ request for comment regarding the allegations and calls to reconsider Cesar Chavez Day.
