I’m fortunate to have Angela Hulsey on my team and grateful for her dedication to both our office and our community. Relationships like these have helped build the longstanding partnership between the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office and Cramer Children’s Center. I am proud of the work they do, and together we remain committed to advocating for and seeking justice for the children in our community. 💙
When children disclose abuse, it takes an entire team working together to pursue justice and protect their future. We're grateful to have leaders like Angela Hulsey helping make that possible.
Angela serves as an Assistant District Attorney for Lauderdale County, where she prosecutes major felony cases and works closely with law enforcement and community partners to hold offenders accountable. Throughout her career, she has dedicated more than two decades to public service, including years as an Assistant District Attorney in both Colbert and Morgan Counties.
One of Angela's most notable accomplishments came in 2009 when she served as lead prosecutor on Alabama's first "Chemical Endangerment of a Child Resulting in Death" case. The successful prosecution led to changes in Alabama law that strengthened protections for babies exposed to drugs and harmful substances before birth.
As a member of the Lauderdale County Multi-Disciplinary Team and a board member of Cramer Children's Advocacy Center, Angela brings invaluable experience and perspective to our mission. Her commitment to protecting children and seeking justice for victims helps ensure that children who come through our doors have advocates fighting for them every step of the way.
A Shoals native and graduate of the University of North Alabama, Angela is also a wife, mother of three, and a passionate champion for children across our community.
Thank you, Angela, for your leadership, your service, and your unwavering commitment to helping children find safety, healing, and justice.
