Our summer reading program starts tomorrow!! This year's theme is "Plant a Seed, Read". Throughout June and July, we'll have fun programs and activities for all ages, from babies to adults. Kids in Mapleton and Siuslaw schools will get a bag with a summer reading packet (and a free book!) at school. For everyone else--including adults--stop by the library starting June 1 to sign up for this free program.

Join us for a timely discussion with Oregon Humanities Conversation Project program director Jennifer Alkezweeny on the subject of freedom. Incarcerated Japanese-Americans during World War II made art using any available materials in the camps, and colorful bird pins were a popular item. Free and all supplies provided. 🐦
