We are just as eager as you are to see this walking trail repaving project completed! Unfortunately, Mother Nature has not been cooperating, and weather delays have impacted the schedule.

Weather permitting, the St. Florian Park and Walking Trail will be completely closed from Monday, June 29 through Wednesday, July 1, and will reopen on Thursday, July 2.

To ensure the new trail surface cures properly and provides a durable, long-lasting walking experience for years to come, we ask that all patrons refrain from entering the park during this closure period.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we make these improvements to our community. The finished product will be well worth the wait!

🚧 Happy Hollow Bridge – New 3-Ton Weight Limit 🚧

Please be advised that the Happy Hollow Bridge is now posted with a 3-ton weight limit.

To help protect the bridge and ensure it remains safe for everyone, we ask that motorists be mindful of the weight restrictions and avoid having multiple vehicles on the bridge at the same time whenever possible. Extra caution and patience will help reduce stress on the structure and extend its lifespan.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we work to preserve this important community asset. Thank you for helping protect Happy Hollow Bridge and for doing your part to keep our roads safe!

Don't forget about the Lauderdale County Rabies Clinic here at the St. Florian Park on Saturday, June 20th starting at 3:15-4:15 PM.

The 2026 Lauderdale County Rabies Clinic will be starting in June. Below is the Rabies Clinic Schedule for 2026. All rabies vaccines are $12.00. Please be mindful of the starting times at each location because we have to leave on time to make our next stop!

Due to recent weather conditions, the final stage of paving on the Town of St. Florian Walking Trail has been delayed. Unfortunately, the rain has created conditions that are not suitable for completing the project at this time.

The contractor will resume work as soon as weather permits to ensure the paving is completed properly and will provide a long-lasting surface for everyone to enjoy.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this final phase of the project. We are excited to open the completed trail and will provide updated closure and reopening information as soon as a new schedule is confirmed.
