IN EVENT THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY, ARE YOU PREPARED?

We’ve received several questions about wildfire evacuation planning, so here are a few helpful resources and reminders:

Common questions we’re hearing:
• Where can I take my animals, and do I have to stay with them?
• How long should I prepare to be gone?
• What should I do if I leave before a mandatory evacuation? (Tip: leave a note on your door with your contact info.)

City of Florence Community Update:
‼️ July 4th Festival Postponed ‼️

Out of respect for the ongoing Aspen Acres wildfire response and to ensure regional resources remain available for pre-evacuation readiness in surrounding communities, the City of Florence is postponing the July 4th Festival at Pioneer Park. There will be no movie nights, events or parade taking place.

Public safety is our priority. This decision helps keep personnel, equipment, and infrastructure focused where they’re most needed as conditions evolve.
