Here is our end of year slideshow that our participants and their family got to watch during the strawberry social on wednesday! It truly was a stellar summer!

Food, Fun, and Fitness's fourth and final week has concluded and it was full of fun! Our participants rode the smoothie bike, went down the slip and slide, played in the sprinkler, made nature portraits, built telescopes, and more! Then, we concluded our program with our strawberry social. Thank you to everyone who joined us for strawberry shortcake, ice cream, and community! We hope that all of our participants had as wonderful of a summer as we did!

FFF Families, tomorrow’s forecast includes a heat advisory, so please have your child wear light clothing, come ready for water activities, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. We’ll keep things fun while staying safe in the sun!

Our third week of FFF has just concluded, and it was a blast! This week, our participants went on our annual trip to Pellegrini's Strawberry Farm, and afterwards enjoyed a picnic lunch and free play at City Park. Later in the week, they made bouncy balls, played bingo, made strawberry jam, and more! We are looking forward to our fourth and final week, including our end of program Strawberry Social! See you then!

July’s breakfast and lunch menu is now available. Because our field trip is scheduled for July 6 and 7, the lunches planned for those days will be swapped with the lunches on July 8 and 9. If your child does not enjoy the meal being served, please send a packed lunch instead.

Monday, July 6 is our annual field trip to Pelligrini’s Farm for strawberry picking, followed by lunch and playtime at Iron Mountain City Park. A bagged lunch will be provided. Please have your child wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty, dress for the heat, and bring a water bottle. We’re ready for a day of fun in the sun!

Thank you to all of our participants for an awesome second week of FFF! We were very fortunate to be able to experience the "Starlab", a pop-up planetarium that allowed us to soar through the solar system and learn about our galaxy firsthand. We also did many other crafts and activities this week and made countless memories. Just one reminder: we are planning on going on our strawberry farm field trip when we return on July 6th, so make sure your child/children are prepared with clothes that can get dirty. See you next week!
