Hello everyone! Session 1 swim lessons filled up pretty much as soon as they opened. If you registered your child, the swim coordinator will be reaching out to you soon to finalize the registration. If you registered your child but didn't pay, please jump back onto the website and complete payment as your registration is not complete until payment is made.

If your child was waitlisted, the coordinator will reach out soon. Payments on waitlisted registrations can be rolled over to one of the next sessions.

Registration for Session 2 will open June 16th on the website. Please note that the registration link has to be manually opened by a real person down at city hall, so it will be open as early as possible but maybe not first thing on the morning of the 16th.

Tomorrow is the big day! We open at noon on the 31st!!!

We will be accepting credit/debit cards this year as well! All card charges will have a 3% surcharge and there is a $5 minimum at concessions!

We ask for your cooperation with our new height policy as well! All unaccompanied swimmers must be at least 42" tall. Everyone will be checked at check-in.

Update:

Swim Lessons are now open!!!

It's that time of year again! The pool opening is scheduled for May 31st, and swim lessons start a couple of weeks after that. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to learn to swim or strengthen existing skills. All classes are taught by certified swim instructors!

Please note registration will open on June 2nd on the City of Florence website (linked below). All comments on this post are monitored so please let me know what questions you have. Can't wait to meet all of your littles :)

See below for details:
Session 1: June 15th - June 26th M, W, F
Session 2: July 6th - July 17th M, W, F
Session 3: July 27th - August 7th M, W, F

Levels 1, 2, & 3 are 30 minutes long. Levels 4, 5, & 6 are 45 minutes long. Session times are dependent on the level. Your child will be tested the first day of lessons to ensure they are placed in the right level.

Swim lessons are $75 per child per session. You will have an option to pay online this year 🥳

-Unaccompanied children must be 42 inches tall to enter the facility on their own.
-If a child is under 42 inches, they must be accompanied by an adult or someone with a valid high school ID.

We are getting so close to opening!! The cashiers and lifeguards are getting ready, and the team is working hard to ensure a smooth opening!

We will be offering punch cards again this season! They are good for 10 swims plus 2 free swims!! That is 12 swims for the price of 10 🤯

Also, this season we will be offering month passes for students and adults! These passes are good for the month of June or July from the 1st to 30th or 31st (depending on the month, of course). They are good for an unlimited number of swims during that time (dependent on capacity), PLUS 10 free concessions that can be claimed during the month the pass was purchased for!

The prices for this season are as follows:

Students (3-18) - $5
Student Punch Card - $50
Student Month Passes - $150
Adults (19-49) - $6
Adult Punch Card - $60
Adult Month Passes - $200
Seniors (50+) - $4
Seniors Punch Card - $40
Aerobics - $3
Aerobics Punch Card - $30

Big news for Florence Pool this summer!!! We will be offering month passes for students and adults. At this time, we will not have them for seniors or aerobics, but we hope to offer that in the future.

This pass is good for all 60 open-swim sessions from June 1st to June 30th (the second session is dependent on capacity). These passes are discounted at 50% off the price of regular admission!! BONUS...this pass is also good for 10 free concessions during the month of June!

Student Passes are only $150 and Adult Passes are $200 for an unlimited number of open-swim sessions for all of June! This is a great deal to get out and enjoy these hot summer days with us! This is the first time we have ever offered anything like this, and we are so excited about the opportunities it will provide for the community!

We will still be offering punch cards this year too!! Stay tuned for more exciting pool news!

The City of Florence is excited to announce our 150/250 Coloring Contest!

We invite young artists and community members to help celebrate our historic milestones by coloring a flag that proudly represents America and/or Colorado.

Participants may use this coloring sheet (or one from City Hall) and return their completed flag to City Hall by June 10.

Age categories:
• 4–6
• 7–9
• 10-12
• 13+

City Council will review all submissions and vote on their favorite design. The winner of each category will receive one free pool pass at the Florence Municipal Pool!
