The Columbia VA Regional Office is hosting a Veteran Experience Action Center (VEAC) 1-on-1 Claims Clinic where Veterans can receive personalized assistance with:

• VA disability and pension claims
• Health care enrollment
• Mental health resources
• Housing and employment support
• Survivor benefits
• Vet Center services
• Community and volunteer resources

HopeHealth Veteran Services invites the community to join us for a short but meaningful ceremony as we honor the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our nation.

Carrying on the tradition of the former Veteran Resource Center of Florence’s annual wreath placement, we plan to use this time for reflection, gratitude, and unity as we pay tribute to those who dedicated their lives to the armed services.

Ceremony:
Florence Veterans Memorial Park

December 10th at 11:00am, rain or shine

During the ceremony, a commemorative wreath will be placed at the memorial, followed by a brief dedication acknowledging the courage, commitment, and legacy of our veterans. Community members, families, and supporters are encouraged to attend and stand with us in recognition of all who have served.

Your presence helps ensure that the sacrifices of our veterans are never forgotten.

‼️Happening Now‼️

The 30th season of The Wall That Heals will began on March 6, 2025 . "The Wall That Heals" is a traveling exhibit that will visit Florence, South Carolina on November 2, 2025. More than 100 communities sought the opportunity to host The Wall That Heals in 2025, and we are pleased that Florence, SC was selected to host. Unveiled on Veterans Day in 1996 and made possible by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, the traveling exhibit has touched nearly 800 communities across the country, including at least 15 stops in the Palmetto State over nearly 30 years.

⏰Time: Ceremony begins at 1:00 PM
The Wall is currently displayed and available for viewing from 11:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

🎗️What it is: A traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., with 58,281 names of service members who died in the war.

🎗️Features: A 375-foot replica of the wall, a mobile education center, photos of local veterans, and a digital kiosk for searching names.

🎗️Purpose: To provide a place for veterans and their families to reflect, remember, and heal, especially those who cannot travel to Washington, D.C.

❓How it works: The exhibit tours the country, and local communities can apply to host it.
