Reminder how to get materials for Curbside Pickup:
Florida Public Library Curbside Pick-Policy
Patrons may reserve and pick up items from the Florida Public Library via curbside service. Curbside procedure is as follows:
1) Patrons may make selections for materials by viewing our collection on CWMARS.ORG using their library card OR by viewing new materials on our facebook or website: http://sites.google.com/sitefloridamapubliclibrary
2) Patrons can then call or email their requests to the library.
3) Library staff will gather requested materials for patron
a. Materials will be wiped down after being checked out to patron and placed in a plastic bag.
4) Patrons will then call the library when they are in the parking lot
5) Librarians will then place materials outside library door (inside walkway) for patrons to pick up.
6) At the time of pickup returned materials will be taken.

Hello Friends,
Its been a long time coming but the library is FINALLY OPEN for Curbside pick up for patrons. Please see the previously posted policies on how to use our curbside service. Please do not hesitate to call us or email us if you have any questions or requests. Please be patient as we all navigate this new form of library service.

Florida Public Library Curbside Pick-Policy
Patrons may reserve and pick up items from the Florida Public Library via curbside service. Curbside procedure is as follows:

6) All materials being returned to the library must be returned to the Drop Box outside the library.

All Persons entering the library shall abide by these rules as they are enforced by the library staff, Town of Florida BOH, and Town of Florida Administrators.
All Patrons, Staff, Delivery Personnel shall wear a mask at all times while in the library.
1) No patrons shall enter the library prior to August 18th.
a. All circulation will be done curb-side until “okayed” for opening.
i. Library staff will post photos of new materials on line for patrons to select from.
ii. Librarians will prepare materials for patrons and have them ready for patrons to pick up outside of the library.
b. When patrons are allowed to enter only one family at a time may be allowed into the library.
2) Library staff will clean all materials entering and leaving the building.
a. Materials will be held for a period of 24 hours after being returned before being re-shelved for circulation.
b. Staff will also wear gloves when checking in items to ensure safety.
3) Staff will wash hands before and after all interactions with patrons and the exchange of any materials.
4) Staff desks and work areas will be set 6 feet apart to maintain social distancing while working at their computers.
