The purpose of the Village’s social media presence is to positively promote the Village of Flossmoor and foster a positive image. The Village of Flossmoor will not permit comments to be posted on the Village’s social media sites that tarnish the Village of Flossmoor’s image or do not align with our values through posts that include but are not limited to the following:
A. Personal attacks of any kind;
B. Comments or content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, genetics, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or intellectual disability or sexual orientation;
C. Spam;
D. Advocates illegal activity;
E. Promotes particular services, products, or political organizations or causes;
F. Infringes on copyrights or trademarks;
G. Personally, identifiable medical information; or
H. Information that may compromise the safety, security or proceedings of public systems or any criminal or civil investigations. Please note that the public comments shared on this page do not reflect the opinions and position of the Village of Flossmoor government or its officers and employees.
