Why don’t they just seek employment?
Why are they perceived as lacking motivation? Why can’t they simply stockpile the food provided through free resources?

We find these comments, not only uneducated and demeaning, but cruel.

Everybody deserves a Thanksgiving meal and thanks to our volunteer chefs and a very generous donation from Paul Sweeney of Sweeney and Company Provisions in Flourtown and Mike Reynolds and the wonderful folks at Seedling and Sage Catering in Glenside everybody did! Our all volunteer team Saint Miriam Human First Outreach served over 170 hot Thanksgiving meals, nutrition and hygiene support bags, socks and water.

Thank to our ladies for making the nutrition support bags. On site today was Mike, Karen, Betsy, Don, Deacon Chester and Keith to welcome our guests!

Thanks to our wonderful partners at Food Connect, Mission Central, Bethesda Mission, Trader Joe’s, Bombas Socks and The Joy of Socks! And the annual food drive at our school, too! We couldn’t do it without you!

Today, our wonderful volunteers provided over 170 hot meals, drinks, socks, PB&J sandwiches, snacks, nutrition and hygiene products.

Today's volunteer chefs were John and Sue, Don and Christine, Betsy, Wendy Zaccone and Keith.

A huge thanks to our partners, Bethesda Missions, Food Connect, Bombas Socks, and Joy of Socks.

A special thank you to Betsy, Linda, Maryann H, and Lorie for making the nutrition and hygiene support bags this week.

On site today to welcome our guests were Don, Deacon Chester, Betsy, Karen, Mike, Joey and Keith!
