🔥 THE FIRST BATTLE BELONGS TO THE BRANCH! 🔥

What. A. Night.

In the first-ever football battle between the Branch and the Bluff, our Falcons battled for FOUR quarters, overcame challenges and injuries, and found a way to pull out a 10-9 VICTORY! 🏈🔴⚫️

We could not be more proud of our kids and coaches for the fight, toughness, and heart they showed all night long.

And BRANCH NATION…you showed up! The stadium was PACKED, the atmosphere on both sides was incredible, and our amazing community came out in full force to support our Falcons.

And then there’s THE DARK SIDE. 🖤🔥

The BEST student section in the world brought the energy from kickoff until the final whistle! You were loud, you were proud, and you made sure everyone knew the Branch was in the house!

Tonight was about more than a 10-9 victory. It was the beginning of a new rivalry, a new tradition, and a night our community will remember for a long time.

So proud of our players. So proud of our coaches. So proud of our students. And so proud of this community.

The first Battle of the Branch and the Bluff is in the books…

❤️🖤 IT’S BRANCH VS. BLUFF WEEK! 🖤❤️

The long-awaited moment has finally arrived! This week, Flowery Branch and Cherokee Bluff will face off in volleyball, softball, and football as the Branch vs. Bluff Battle officially begins!

Separated by only a couple of miles, these two schools and their athletes are friends, neighbors, and young people who have grown up doing life together. After years of never meeting in competition, we are beginning a new era and building a tradition that will bring our schools together to compete year after year.

The action begins today as our volleyball team travels to Cherokee Bluff. Softball takes the field tomorrow, and then our Falcons meet the Bears under the Friday night lights at Cherokee Bluff at 7:30 p.m. for the first football matchup between the two schools!

It is going to be packed all week, so come out, wear your red and black, and support our Falcons. This is more than one week of competition. It is the start of a new era, a new rivalry, and a special tradition for our schools, athletes, and entire community!

Flowery Branch High School students recently attended the Youth Leadership Hall kickoff! This yearlong program brings together students from across Gainesville and Hall County to strengthen their leadership skills, develop positive group dynamics, and increase civic and community involvement.

Proudly representing Flowery Branch are Allie Barden, America Campos, Anna Kate Sloan, Josie Walton, Kevin Trainor, Lizzie Gaston, and Makena Nguyen. We are excited to watch these students learn, lead, and make a positive impact in our community throughout the year! ❤️🖤

🏈 2nd Annual Meet the Falcons! ❤️🖤

What an awesome night at the Branch! Our 2nd Annual Meet the Falcons was so much fun and a great way to kick off the football season!

A huge thank you to our players, cheerleaders, band, coaches, sponsors, and vendors who helped make the night such a success. Most importantly, thank you to everyone in Branch Nation who came out to support our Falcons!

One of the best parts of the night was seeing our entire community come together at our school to celebrate and support one another. From our youngest future Falcons to our current students, families, staff, and community members, this is what makes the Branch such a special place.

What a great night to celebrate our Falcons and continue building our Falcon community!

And don’t forget to come out this Friday for our first home football game against Cass High School—it’s going to be a great way to kick off the new year!

So proud of our student leaders! ❤️🖤

Today, some of our student leaders went down to Davis Middle School to spend time with our future Falcons and talk about our Four Talons: Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Service.

They did an amazing job sharing what it means to be a Falcon, the expectations we have at FBHS, the importance of getting better each day, and what it means to continue building and leaving a legacy for those who come after you.

There is something special about watching our student leaders pour into the next generation of Branch Nation. Proud of the leaders they are becoming and excited to see what the future holds!

There’s something special about this time of year. The halls are ready, classrooms are waiting, and there’s nothing quite like watching our Falcons compete under the Friday night lights as the sun sets. It’s a reminder that a new season is here—not just for athletics, but for every student who will walk through our doors tomorrow.

We can’t wait to welcome our Falcons back for another incredible year filled with learning, friendships, opportunities, and unforgettable memories. Here’s to an amazing year in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, and in everything our students do.
