The NWRMS Band Program is so proud that we had 6 students audition into the ASBDA Middle School All-State Band this year! They attended camp this week at PRCC in Poplarville and had their grand finale concert today. We are so proud of these students and how they represent our band program and school!!

Ann Marie Smith & Emily Remington’s intro to mock trial and debate classes conducted their annual mock trial.

Guest Judges for trial (and a special thank to them) includes former Federal Judge Linda Anderson, Defense Attorney Donna Meehan, and Rankin County Justice Court Judge (as well as candidate for Chancery Court Judge), Bo Agnew. We would also like to thank the teachers who participated as jurors for the mock trial!

We’re beyond proud of the kids’ hard work preparing for this and very thankful for members of the community willing to come into the school to help us teach our students to implement real-world concepts!
