Our friends in Patrick County are asking us in Floyd County to attend their candidate forum if at all possible. We were going to have one that same day, and had to cancel due to candidate scheduling that day, so hopefully some of us will be able to travel. Carpool?

An explosion of AI data centers are using unprecedented amounts of water while communities are being asked to cut back. In Fayetteville, Georgia residents were asked to reduce water usage all while a nearby data center drained 30 Million gallons unnoticed.

In Virginia, much of the state was placed on a drought watch in April. A proposed Google Data center in Botetourt estimates 2-8 million gallons a day.

We can live without AI data centers but we can't live without water.We need AI Data Center regulation now.
