Retirement is not the end of the road, it’s the start of a new adventure. We want to wish Greg Crabtree a happy retirement! 🎉🏁

We want to thank him for his watchful eye and for keeping The Floyd County Library, specifically the Galena branch, safe and secure. Over the years Greg has built lasting friendships with both patrons and staff and always brought an uplifting attitude to any room he entered. We will miss hearing his stories about his glory days as a cop and his well versed knowledge on car parts pre-1980!

We appreciate everything you do and we will miss you Greg! We wish you a wonderful retirement filled with happiness, new adventures, and plenty of car shows!

Participants explore Shakespeare's sonnets and verse alongside contemporary music to discover rhythm, poetry and language!

🌷✨Stop by the Galena Digital Library Thursday, May 7th from 11am to 3pm and pick up an engraved cutting board in honor of Mother's Day! 🌷✨

Patrons may take one cutting board per family with a pre-engraved message with the option to engrave names onto the back. It's first come, first serve and boards will be handed out while supplies last.

Cardmaking supplies will also be available should patrons wish to make a Mother's Day card.

✨ Join us Tuesdays at 1pm. For infants to 23 month olds.

🪿 During Mother Goose on the Loose we will be interacting with music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, nursery rhymes, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and short book readings.
