🐝 Finish off the summer with an evening of crafting! 🐝

Join us this Wednesday, August 26th at 5:30pm for our monthly Make-In-Take. We are rounding off the summer with a bee happy honey dipper and mini rolling pin craft.

All supplies provided free, no special skills needed.

Are you a nature lover? Do you care about preservation?

Join us tomorrow Wednesday, August 19th at 5:30pm for a presentation from the Director of Buffalo Trace Land Trust, Elizabeth Mortenson Winlock, about the general use of prescribed fire to control invasive bugs and plants.

If you have questions or want to be apart of the Prescribed Burn Association there will be a short Q&A after the presentation.

Join us for a fun day of building after school today,
Friday, August 14th at 3:30pm here at the Galena Library!
Kids of all ages can play and build using the library’s LEGOs and other engineering materials.

Join us as Elizabeth Mortenson Winlock, Director for Buffalo Trace Land Trust, leads us through a fascinating presentation about the general use of prescribed fire to control invasive plants and ticks, to improve forest and grassland health, and to reduce risks from wildfire damage as we see more wildfires in our region
