It was a busy week last week with produce, bingo, crafts, and a trip to some local farm stands, and of course with a great lunch to Tlaquepaque!

On Tuesday, August 4, we traveled to the Amish Country. We had a nice meal at the  Farmstead, visited a couple thrift stores, stopped at Hershberger’s, the Troyer market, the Walnut Creek store, and finished up at the World‘s largest cuckoo clock in Sugar Creek. It was a great day with good times, good food, laughs and sweet treats!

Today we visited the Deersville General store! The lunch  and ice cream were very good and in such a small world, one member met someone who knew her family all because our driver was wearing his Flushing Center shirt  and a new connection was made! After we left the store, we drove down to the Tappan Lake campground and beach and enjoyed some reminiscing and for some of us, we were seeing this area for the first time. What a good day !
