Sandra Ung for City Council

06/14/2026

Knicks in 5, now let's vote on the 23rd! From Madison Square Garden to the ballot box, let's keep the momentum going for our champions!

Team Ung was out rallying and knocking doors for Grace Meng for Congress and Edmond Wong for Civil Court!

Grace has been a champion for our community in DC and has delivered real results for Flushing, including bringing back record investments to combat flooding, funding for our local nonprofits and passing critical legislation. She has been a constant presence in our neighborhoods and we need to make sure she's reelected to continue the fight against those who would defund our communities and attack our fundamental rights.

My friend Edmond is running for Civil Court and I'm proud to support him. If elected, I know that Edmond will serve on the bench by centering fairness and equal justice for all.

Election Day is June 23rd but you can early vote today and throughout this week - check your poll site and make your plan to vote today! https://findmypollsite.vote.nyc/

Walked with Governor Kathy Hochul to hear directly from small business owners about the impact of tariffs and aggressive immigration enforcement on our community.

They were clear: the chaos coming from the Trump administration is hurting families and small businesses here in Flushing.

Governor Hochul, along with Grace Meng, John C. Liu, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, and we on the Council, will keep fighting to protect our working families and small businesses from the disastrous policies coming from Washington.

I am deeply honored to be reelected as Councilmember for District 20. Serving the residents of Flushing, Murray Hill, Queensboro Hill, and Fresh Meadows has been the privilege of my career. Over the past term, we’ve secured record funding to improve quality of life, enhance public safety, and expand educational opportunities across our district. I look forward to building on that progress, ensuring that District 20 remains a vibrant, safe, and inclusive community where every family has the opportunity to thrive.

Over the past four years, we’ve accomplished so much together. From improving quality of life in our community to fighting for resources for working families, I’ve worked to make sure Flushing’s voice is heard at City Hall.

This year, I’m especially proud to have:

- Worked with my colleagues to create a $2.5 million initiative that will bring an AAPI curriculum to NYC public schools.
- Championed the new Culturally Specific Gender-Based Violence Initiative, which provides $3 million in direct funding to grassroots organizations supporting survivors in immigrant communities.

Thank you for standing with our campaign. Let’s keep working together for a stronger, fairer, and more vibrant Flushing.
