On Wednesday, May 27, a fire broke out at this barn at the top of our district. The structure was fully involved upon arrival, and took an abundance of man power and resources to extinguish. From Chief Kantor and the members of FCFC, we extend many thanks to our mutual aid partners.

Friday night we celebrated with our annual banquet at Creekside station with awards and a fabulous dinner prepared by Chef Dave Neil.

We would like to thank and recognize Joan Kegelman, Patti Schultz, Todd Zuccaro, and past Chief Steven Baker for their service and dedication with plaques, they have definitely earned them!

Chief Adam Kantor would also like to recognize the chiefs and representatives from our neighboring fire company’s, County Coordinators, our honorary members and also special guest who assist us through the year who were able to join us. It was our pleasure to host you.

With the NY state burn ban starting next week, March 16th -May 14th, we would like to remind you to be careful. Wildfires have already happened this spring in our area!

Please do not burn on windy days, or without sufficient water and tools to protect a small fire from getting out of hand!
